Lay’s tasked us to generate as much electricity from a simple potato as possible, to power a recording studio and capture Grammy nominated pop sensation Anitta perform one of her hit-songs. Several months of experimentation, 8,580 Lay’s potatoes, the dedication of the ZyynLabs & Slash team, plus one-homemade potato gantry hoist, a successful collection of 11.43 Watts of electricity, gave us enough to charge the equipment. To certify the legitimacy of our experiment, Guinness World Records officially declared a World Record had officially been set: Highest Wattage From A Potato Battery. All via the Power of Potatoes.
